Babylon Sand Drift & Play is a 2-hour guided electric dirt bike adventure through Southern Utah’s red sand playground — the same wild terrain Surronster and his crew came out to ride.
This place looks like Mars. Wide sandy washes, rolling red dunes, towering canyon walls, petroglyphs, ruins, and miles of ridiculous red-rock scenery make Babylon one of our favorite places to ride.
This is Sand Riding 101 — but way more fun than class. You’ll learn to let the bike move underneath you, spin the rear tire, drift through turns, and play in the sand. Expect a little workout, a lot of laughing, and probably a few moments where you can’t believe you’re actually doing it.
Never ridden sand? Perfect. This is our most adventurous beginner-friendly ride, and no previous dirt bike or sand experience is required. The terrain is wide and open with no cliff exposure, giving you room to learn without intimidating consequences.
We’ll match your bike and power mode to your comfort level, teach you the basics before we head out, and coach you along the way. By the end, you won’t just have ridden through Mars — you’ll know how to play in it.

Is this ride beginner-friendly?
Yep! This ride is built for adventurous beginners. If you can ride a bicycle and you're ready for a little sand, we'll teach you the rest. Think Sand Riding 101 — spinning, drifting, laughing, and taking a trip through Mars.
What size bike will I ride?
We match you to a bike based on your height, size, experience, and comfort level. Our fleet ranges from smaller, confidence-friendly bikes all the way up to full-size Surron Ultra Bees.
Do I need dirt bike experience?
Nope. Most riders don't. Our guides get you comfortable with the bike before hitting the trail, and adjustable ride modes let us keep the power where you're comfortable.
Can kids ride?
Yep — ages 10+ can ride their own bike. This is an awesome family adventure, but it's not a kiddie ride. Everyone rides the real trail on a bike matched to their size and ability.
Do parents have to come along?
For minors, yep! And don't worry — moms have successfully completed this ride many, many times. 😎 If riding isn't your thing, you can tag along in the side-by-side (UTV) instead — younger siblings can come along for the ride, too.
Do you cancel for weather?
We operate in most conditions, including light rain; if weather becomes unsafe (flash flood warnings or temps over 110 °F) we will reschedule or refund.
What if I'm already an experienced rider?
You'll have fun here, but this ride is paced for adventurous beginners and mixed-skill groups. Looking to open it up? We have experienced MX racers on our team who can take things up a notch. Check out our [**Next Level Rides →**](https://sotahadventures.com/next-level-rides)
