Go further into Monument Valley's back roads on this extended journey, tracing miles of trail through backcountry only certified guides may enter. Visit a traditional hogan for a rug-weaving demonstration, marvel at the Big Hogan and Moccasin Arches, then continue toward Echo Cave and the wind-carved Totem Pole. A deeper, unhurried look at the valley's quiet, ancient corners.

Open air or enclosed vehicles depending on the weather. All vehicle are made for the rough terrain.

Departs from The View Hotel and KOA Campground.
Landmarks: Mitten View, Three Sisters, John Ford Point, Sleeping Dragon, Traditional Hogan, The Big Hogan, Moccasin Arch, Sun's Eye, Totem Pole, North Window, Artist Point, Ear of the Wind.
Original tour routes and destinations may change due to bad road and weather conditions.

Please meet 30 minutes early in front of the KOA office. KOA Campground is for KOA customers only. Refer to the corresponding pickup addresses above.The Navajo Nation observes daylight savings time. We are MDT(Mountain Daylight Time) If you are traveling from Arizona please be sure to leave one hour earlier March 8th to November 1st, 2026.
